Wildlife Safari Animal Emporium, Inc. was started back in April of 1993 under a different name, that in 1997 was changed to the name it is today. Wildlife Safari is Located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Menominee. Wildlife Safari is a full line retail pet store. We carry Fresh and Saltwater Tropical Fish, Reptiles, Birds, Small Animals, Exotic Pets and all related supplies.

The store owner and President, David Sexton, has been an animal enthusiast since he was a very young boy. He was always coming home with the proverbial "snake in his pockets," snakes, frogs, salamanders, toads, turtles, anything he could find and catch. David would bring these animals home, much to his mother's chagrin, and care for them and observe them for a short period of time before he would release them back into the wild. It was only natural for David to go into a field specializing in the care and management of all types of animals.

David has several breeding programs that he is currently working on. David is trying to breeding several species of venomous snakes including albino monocle cobras, West and East African gaboon vipers, and canebrake rattlesnakes. David is also breeding black throat monitors and trying to breed crocodile tree monitors, one of the largest lizards in the world and a difficult one to breed as well.

Wildlife Safari has been in operation for nearly 13 years serving the Menominee community. Offering friendly, helpful advice backed by professional knowledge for all your pets needs.
